Haas F1 Team
Ferrari power unit and gearbox; Dallara-built chassis.
Gene Haas, owner of Haas Automation and co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing in NASCAR, was granted an entry for 2016. Rather than build everything, the team buys every permitted component from Ferrari and outsources the chassis to Dallara, operating from Kannapolis, Banbury and Maranello.
Romain Grosjean scored sixth on debut in Melbourne. The 2018 car was the fifth-fastest on the grid and the team finished fifth in the constructors' championship — its best result.
Guenther Steiner ran the team from the start until being replaced by Ayao Komatsu for 2024, after which a Toyota technical partnership was added to expand the team's resources.
