Permitted use of the archive
You may browse, search, print and download pages, fact sheets and CSV exports for your own personal, educational or non-commercial research use. Quoting individual facts or short extracts with a credit and a link back to the relevant GridXTrax page is welcome.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- extract, copy or re-utilise a substantial part of the database, whether in one act or by repeated and systematic extraction of insubstantial parts;
- scrape, crawl beyond ordinary search-engine indexing, bulk-download, mirror or republish the archive or its structured data;
- use the content or its exports to train, fine-tune or ground a machine-learning or generative AI system;
- resell the content, or present it in a way that suggests official Formula One endorsement or that GridXTrax endorses you;
- interfere with the site, its availability or its security, or circumvent any technical restriction.
Intellectual property and database rights
The underlying historical facts — race results, championship standings, dates — are not owned by anyone. However, the selection, verification, structuring, lineage research, written commentary, rankings, scores, graphics, code and overall presentation on this site are original work. Copyright in that material, and the sui generis database right in the compiled archive under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997, are reserved by the site owner.
Fair dealing for criticism, review, quotation, news reporting, and non-commercial research or private study is unaffected.
Third-party names and marks
Formula 1, F1, FIA, team names, constructor names and driver names are the trademarks or personal names of their respective owners. They are used on this site solely as nominative references to identify the teams, people and events being described. GridXTrax does not display official Formula One or team logos, liveries or photographs; team colours and abstract emblems used in graphics are original illustrations. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is claimed or implied.
Rights complaints and takedown
If you own rights in material you believe appears here without permission, contact GridXTrax via Facebook Messenger with the page URL, a description of the material and your rights in it. Valid complaints are actioned promptly, normally within five working days, and material is removed or amended while the matter is reviewed.
Accuracy, warranties and liability
The archive is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. Statistics are compiled from public sources and may contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from reliance on the content or from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date above shows the current version. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts.
