The short version
GridXTrax does not use cookies for advertising, analytics, profiling or personalisation. There is no tracking script, no advertising network, no Facebook pixel and no embedded social widget anywhere on the site. That is why you are not asked to accept cookies: under PECR, consent is required only for non-essential storage, and this site sets none.
What the site does store
- Nothing identifying. No account, session or visitor identifier is created.
- Your view settings live in the URL. Sort order, filters, page number and search terms are held in the address bar so pages stay shareable and bookmarkable — not in a tracking cookie.
- Browser caching. Your browser and the CDN cache page and image files for speed. This is strictly necessary technical storage.
Share buttons
The X, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Reddit and email share buttons are ordinary links. They load no third-party JavaScript and set no third-party cookies while you read a page. Data only reaches a social network if you choose to click through to it, and from that point that network’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.
Web fonts and hosting
Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts and pages are delivered through a hosting/CDN provider, so your IP address is visible to them as a technical necessity of serving the page. Neither is used to track you across sites by GridXTrax.
If this changes
