Ken Tyrrell's team won three championships in the early 1970s with Jackie Stewart before decades of decline.
British American Tobacco bought the entry in 1997 and moved the operation into a new Brackley factory as BAR.
Honda took full control in 2006, then withdrew in the 2008 financial crisis; Ross Brawn bought the team for a nominal sum.
Brawn GP won both titles in 2009 and was immediately purchased by Mercedes, which then won eight straight constructors' championships from 2014.
