Seven constructors' titles. Folded after the 1994 season.

The Long Version

Lotus entered in 1958 and won its first title with Jim Clark in 1963 using the monocoque Lotus 25.

The Lotus 49 introduced the Cosworth DFV as a stressed member in 1967, a template used for two decades.

Gold Leaf and JPS liveries made commercial sponsorship the sport's financial engine.

Chapman's death in 1982 began a long decline; the team folded during the 1994 season.
