Shadow Racing Cars

One win, Austria 1977; the team Arrows split from.

The Long Version

Shadow came to Formula One in 1973 after building the low-slung Can-Am cars that gave it its name.

Peter Revson died testing at Kyalami in 1974 and Tom Pryce was killed at the same circuit in 1977.

Alan Jones won the 1977 Austrian Grand Prix, the team's only victory.

Most of the senior staff left to found Arrows that winter and Shadow folded after 1980.
