The Long Version

March sold cars to Tyrrell and STP in its first season and put a March on pole at its debut race.

Ronnie Peterson's 1976 Italian Grand Prix win was the works team's high point.

The team left Formula One in 1977 to concentrate on the profitable Formula Two and Indycar business.

It returned in 1981, morphed into Leyton House, reverted to March in 1992 and folded that year.
