The Long Version

He debuted with HRT in 2011 as a Red Bull-placed driver, then moved to Toro Rosso.

Promoted alongside Vettel in 2014, he won three races and outscored the four-time champion.

Moves to Renault and McLaren produced one memorable Monza win in 2021 but little else.

He returned to the Faenza team as AlphaTauri and then RB before losing the seat in 2024.
